Literally NO wear after several months of play using Rotosound RS66 stainless steels! I will definitely be. The stainless steel frets sound the same as nickel to me but wear much better. The 7 degree tilt-back headstock provides the perfect string angle and requires no string tree. I'm extremely impressed with Carvin's work. The workmanship and attention to detail on this neck are astounding. The fit on the Warmoth Jazz body was perfect. Pic of fully assembled bass is for reference only. It turned out to be part of a very successful Carvin/Warmoth project. Again, the important trick is to take it out of the water and then wait until it starts to loosen, never leave it in the water so long.New condition neck and tuners! No flaws! Tuners and truss rod function perfectly! I custom ordered this beautiful neck from Carvin a few months ago. If there are any small bubbles (which is normall not the case) you can use a needle to open these. Do this very lightly so that you do not destroy the decal.Ĩ. Carefully wipe with a soft cloth over the decal to remove any water. Normally it can be moved for some time on the guitar surface.Ħ. If there are wrinkles, try carefully to smooth it with a wet finger. The surface must be smooth by the way, which means a clean and dry laquered surface.ĥ.
Simply slide it directly from the paper to the position you want it to be on your guitar. Try very carefully to move it on the paper to check if it has loosended everywhere.Ĥ.
